FAMILY CHILD CARE QUESTIONS?

FCC PROVIDER REFERRAL LIST
The HAFB Family Child Care (FCC) program is designed to provide quality child care in a safe environment that promotes each child's development.  Choosing a FCC home is an individual decision that only your family can make.
Below are some questions to assist you in identifying the provider who best meets your families' needs:

Call for Information
Does she have openings?  What ages are the children she has in care?  Does she provide transportation to/from school?  What are her fees?

Visit the Provider's Home
Does she appear to enjoy her work?  Are the children
happy?  How do they spend their day?
Are there enough toys?

Ask Questions
Does she participate in the USDA food program?  What meals does she serve?  What training has she received?  Does she administer medications?
Does she care for mildly ill children?  What are her
policies?  What about vacations and holidays?

Evaluate the Setting
Is the home neat/clean?  Will your child he safe and happy?  Will your child fit into the group?
Will your child's needs be met?

And finally, Trust Your Instincts
Your observations and your sense of the care your child may receive will guide you in choosing the right provider for your family.

This listing is for referral purposes only, and does not provide any type of recommendation or endorsement.  Providers listed have met all FCC requirements as set by DoD, Air Force, New Mexico, and Holloman AFB.  FCC staff visit each home every month to ensure compliance with program directives.
