If you experience problems, call 572-5369. Select your site, then check -in with campground host as soon as possible. If you temporarily leave the campsite, place a trafficcone to reserve your site. Check-out is 1100, Monday - Sunday.

Directions: Directly off US-70, west of Alamogordo. Campground is on Base. Recommended using the West Gate for entrance. Open 0600-1800, Monday - Friday. It's the truck gate with a wide entrance to the right of the car gate. After the gate, bear past the Youth Center (Beware of the 15 mph speed bumps.) to the first stop sign. Continue staight until you reach the second stop sign. Turn left onto Mesquite Rd. Follow Mesquite for 3/4 mile. Mesquite curves to the left and the FAM Camp will be on your right. If the West Gate is closed, use the Main Gate far right lane. If the lane is blocked, the gate guards will come move the posts. After entering the base, take the first left onto Martin Ave. You'll be entering base hosing. Continue on Martin Ave, road will veer left and turn into Ruidoso Dr. Continue straight on Ruidoso Dr. past 4 way intersection to stop sign. Turn left onto Mesquite Rd. Mesquite curves to the left and the FAM Camp will be on your right. Select an empty site (or park in the field) and check in with the camp host at site #7.
FAM Charges: Per Night: $20.00, Per Week: $90.00, Per Month: $300.00. Maximum stay is 30 days. Extended stayed allowed based on availablility. Reservations are not accepted. Occupancy is on a first come first serve basis. A $50.00 fine for camping without registering with the FAM Camp Host.
FAM Camp Rules: The Department of the Air Force, Holloman AFB, 49th Force Support Squadron and Outoor Recreation are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property, nor for any injuries or deaths resulting from accidents which occur in the campground or surrounding areas.
1. 1. All vehicles and equipment left unattended must be locked.
2. Speed limit in FamCamp is 5 mph.
3. Intoxicated individuals will be denied camping privileges.
4. Respect the rights of your neighbors between the hours of 8 PM to 8 AM. Lights and sound-producing equipment must be turned down to a level that does not disturb others. If it disturbs your neighbors, it is too loud. Misconduct and/or causing disturbance
is cause for revocation of camping privileges.
5. Individuals under 18 years of age will be accompanied by an adult in order to camp.
6. Children under 14 years of age must be under direct supervision of an adult while in the campground.
7. The coin laundry room and restrooms/showers are for registered campers only.
8. Facilities abuse will not be allowed. Vandalism, graffiti or misuse of equipment is cause for revocation of camping privileges.
9. Pets are Permitted, but must have appropriate and current immunizations. Pets must be caged or on a leash when outside your vehicle. You must also be present whenever your pet is outside your vehicle. Leashes must restrict the pet to your assigned campsite. Owners must clean-up after their Pets daily and dispose of waste in a proper garbage container
10. Dispose of trash in appropriate waste receptacles in tied plastic trash bags.
11. Open campfires are not allowed. Camp stoves and BBQ grills may be used. Hot coals will be extinguished with water after using grills.
12. No Smoking in bed.
13. Campers are responsible for the cleanliness of their assigned campsite.

No camping permits will be issued for the individual or those individuals until approval is given by the Outdoor Recreation manager.
