Mission:
The Holloman AFB's Outdoor Recreation offers High Adventure activities such as Hiking, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Water skiing and Snow Skiing. We also rent out a variety of sporting equipment, lawn & garden equipment, camping equipment, home equipment and other misc. items. We also rent out trailers and other outdoor fun items like inflatable bouncing houses.

Apache Sports Range: Facility includes a skeet range, trap range, sporting clay range, rifle and pistol range and American Archery range. Snack Bar and retail sales store.

FAM Camp: Full hook up for 24 camper vehicles. Based on a first come
first serve bases.

RV Storage: Recreational Vehicle storage for utility trailers, pickup campers, campers shells, camper trailers, boats, hoof trailers, motorcycle trailers, horse trailers, dune buggies, motor homes or other recreation vehicles needing storage.

BASE Outdoor Pool: Called the Aquatic Center, it is an olympic size swimming pool. Has a slide and a kid's area.

Rental/Check Out: A variety of equipment is for rent. Equipment varies from Camping equipment, Outdoor Lawn equipment, to Outdoor Recreation equipment.

Equestrain Facility(Staple): The Flying "H" stables located on the north side of Holloman, are open to all active duty and retired personnel, their families and civilian employees. Facility has 40 stall capacity, shown arena, practice area, jumping arena, exercise pen, training round pen, quarantine stalls and hot walker.
