CAREER ASSISTANCE COUNSELING

We provide a plethora to career assistance counseling. While we specialize on effective retraining, we do give advice on commissioning opportunities, Reserve and Guard transition and other career options.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We bring multi day enlisted professional development courses to the table for Airmen to NCOs to SNCOs. Additionally we bring single day professional development opportunities that are open to our Civilians and Officers as well as our Enlisted Airmen in the form of John C. Maxwell courses.

INFORMED DECISION BRIEFING [ IDB ]

We also host the Informed Decision Briefings once per month. These are mandatory for every 1St and 2nd term Airman within 15 months of separation, but with good reason. These briefings bring resources and contacts to Airmen considering separation from the Air Force. Additionally they bring the resources to Airmen not separating who might counsel other Airmen about their options.

FIRST TERM AIRMAN'S COURSE [ FTAC ]

One of our biggest initiatives is our First Term Airmen Course (FTAC). This mandatory course is developed to target Airmen for whom this is their first duty station beyond technical school, and this AFI driven course must be accomplished within their first 45 days on station. Usually the Airman’s CSS person will schedule them during in processing. The course is geared to provide base for professionalism, critical thinking, how to avoid the pitfalls of entrenchment. Additionally it builds on the Core Values that guide us to do the right thing on a daily basis. It also gets Airmen in contact with the resources to help them find their resiliency and cope with potential issues that can arise in their lives.
